Walkers Snack Foods - Annual Re-Lamp

For a number of years now we have re-lamped Walkers NRDC, this entailed working around WSF warehouse logistics and ther day to day operations. our scope is to relamp internally and externally. Again we now look after 3 distribution centres of WSF.

Walkers Snack Foods - Energy Efficient Lights

Walkers looked to Go Green and invested in low energy lighting within pick tunnels, it was realised that substantial savings were made using low energy fittings and remote sensors when no operatives were present. We sucessfully implimented 3No picking tunnel presence detectors, which shut down the lighting when quite. A payback time of 18months with this installation against costs to power savings. We now have implimented this to several areas for WSF with more areas planned for 2009

MWH Global - Moves and Changes

DGI Electrical Solutions tendered for works at MWH in Birchwood for ther moves and changes with success, MWH continually moving personel around, our works incuding installation of floor boxes including power and data cabling back to local communication rooms. Again due to out of hours works, DGI's flexibilty created further works and recently relocated MWH reception from 2nd Floor to ground floor with little distruption to there day to day operations.

Guiness / Diageo - Safety Flashing Lights

Diageo came to DGI Electrical Soltutions for input and ideas to reduce near missess and satisfy a safety ordit issue. When unloading bottles and cans, high FLT traffic and pedestrians had caused issues over recents times. DGI and Diageo agreed a traffic light awareness for operatives in this area. We installed a control panel with flashing red lights (when unloading) as a warning to operatives to be aware of high FLT traffic. these then swithced to green when unloading was complete.
